About You

You thrive on variety and love diving into new businesses, learning how they work and helping them grow safely and confidently. You’re not a spreadsheet person – you want tools that help privacy power the business, not block it. You shape how tech supports DPOs and you’re not shy about giving feedback when something can be better. You make privacy real – energetic, empathetic and maybe a few puns up your sleeve. You are bold, curious, collaborative, pushing boundaries and believing compliance can be fun. You’re not looking for another contract; you want a place where your ideas count, your voice is heard and your work builds something bigger.

The Role

  • Be the primary Privacy Expert for a portfolio of Trust Keith customers, delivering outstanding service with warmth, clarity and independence.
  • Implement and oversee comprehensive privacy programmes through the Trust Keith platform, setting priorities, tracking progress and ensuring delivery aligns with each customer’s goals.
  • Lead customer calls, workshops and Risk Committee meetings, making privacy engaging.
  • Manage incoming privacy queries with empathy and speed, meeting SLAs while keeping things human.
  • Conduct data‑protection audits to build a deep understanding of each customer’s risks and realities, turning insights into clear, actionable next steps.
  • Identify and communicate priority risks, helping customers make smart, defensible decisions.
  • Feed back insights from the field to the Product team.
  • Collaborate closely with our Lead DPO and the wider privacy team, sharing best practices and supporting peers.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Product and Ops teams.
  • Share your ideas, expertise and sense of humour at quarterly DPO Days.

Apply If You

  • Able to commit to a minimum of 16 hours per week, growing to around 32 hours as customers join.
  • Work within UK business hours (Mon‑Fri).
  • Have 4+ years of privacy experience, holding certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, LLM, or IAPP membership.
  • Understand GDPR, PECR, CCPA and international data transfers.
  • Have tackled privacy challenges in AI, fintech, healthtech, edtech or other complex data environments.
  • Have experience working with multiple customers on a fractional, freelance or consultancy basis.
  • Understand risk management and take a pragmatic approach to compliance.
  • Know your way around privacy docs (IARs, RoPAs, privacy notices, DSARs, breach logs, etc.).
  • Tech‑curious, opinionated and loves trying new tools and sharing ideas.
  • Self‑motivated but thrives on collaboration.
