We are looking for a VP of Engineering to drive the development and scaling of our mission‑critical, automation‑focused platform. The Challenge: You will serve as the primary engineering leader, blending deep technical contribution with strategic management. Your focus will be on building cutting‑edge, AI‑powered solutions that deliver substantial value to businesses in a heavily regulated market.

  • Technical Leadership: Architect, develop, and implement our core platform, writing and reviewing complex, optimized code (primarily Python and Node.js).
  • Team Management: Mentor, hire, and lead a growing team of high‑performing AI engineers and developers.
  • Strategic Vision: Define the long‑term technical roadmap, establish architecture standards, and implement best practices for reliability, security, and performance.
  • Product Collaboration: Work closely with Product and Design teams to translate user needs into a robust, scalable technical reality.
  • Innovation: Drive continuous improvement in system scalability, automation efficiency, and overall platform excellence.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience and experience as a leader.
  • A robust technical skill set, including expertise in Cloud environments and AI/ML technologies.
  • Proven success in leadership roles within a startup or scaleup environment, demonstrating the ability to manage growth and technical complexity simultaneously.
  • Genuine passion for building impactful products.

Location: London - 5 days on site
