Senior Principal Consultant – Hiring DevOps + Software Engineers for clients across the UK & Ireland

Staff Software Engineer (C/C++)

We\’ve just had a number of new development roles go live with a FinTech client of ours based in Belfast as they launch a number of new projects.

The main priority is for a Staff Software engineer but they are also hiring at the software engineer level, so please feel free to also send in your CV if you\’re not quite at the staff level just yet.

They are looking for highly experience C/C++ engineers who will be responsible for the design and development of software components for their Payment Terminals. At Staff level you will lead the team and work on a range of C++ and C based software projects.

Desired Technical Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or other relevant area
  • Strong hands-on experience in C++ or C
  • Experience in Linux development
  • Experience in Agile/SCRUM environments
  • Experience with one or more of XML, JSON, HTML
  • Experience leading a team and mentoring more junior engineers
  • Database design and development
  • Web client and server programming skills

This is a fully remote role as long as you are based in Northern Ireland.
