  • Principal Product Manager (AI & B2B Saa S)
  • Opportunity

An ambitious, high-growth B2B technology business is looking for a Principal Product Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of its product evolution.

This is an opportunity to lead products that sit at the heart of a rapidly scaling Saa S platform, helping organisations solve complex business problems through intelligent software and AI-powered experiences.

Whether your expertise lies in launching entirely new products or scaling existing propositions into market-leading solutions, you'll have the autonomy and influence to make a genuine commercial impact.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys working where strategy meets execution.

You'll spend as much time defining long-term product direction as you will working closely with engineering and design teams to deliver meaningful outcomes for customers.

If you're energised by ownership, comfortable operating with ambiguity and excited by the possibilities of AI within enterprise software, this is an opportunity to build products that matter.

About the Organisation

Our client is a well-funded technology scale-up that develops software used by enterprise organisations to make faster, smarter business decisions.

The business is investing heavily in the future of AI and modern product development, evolving beyond traditional software to create intelligent workflows that automate complex tasks and unlock new value for customers.

Product sits at the centre of the organisation's strategy, with significant investment being made into innovation, experimentation and bringing new ideas to market quickly.

Teams are deliberately lean, collaborative and empowered, giving Product Managers the freedom to make decisions and influence company direction.

Working here means joining an environment where curiosity, commercial thinking and customer obsession are valued just as highly as technical excellence.

The Impact You'll Have

As a Principal Product Manager, you'll own significant product initiatives with responsibility spanning discovery, strategy, delivery and commercial success.

Depending on your background, you may lead the creation of entirely new products or take ownership of an established area of the platform, identifying new opportunities for growth, adoption and customer value.

Success won't be measured simply by feature delivery.

You'll be expected to understand customer problems, identify market opportunities, validate assumptions and build products that generate measurable business outcomes.

Working closely with Engineering, Product Design, Data and Commercial teams, you'll create a shared vision that aligns technical delivery with customer needs and commercial objectives.

You'll also play a key role in helping the organisation embrace AI-first ways of working, identifying opportunities where emerging technologies can improve both customer experiences and internal product development practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of strategic product initiatives, from discovery through to launch and ongoing optimisation.
  • Define product vision, strategy and roadmaps aligned with customer needs and commercial priorities.
  • Conduct user research, customer discovery and experimentation to validate opportunities before significant investment.
  • Translate complex business challenges into simple, scalable product solutions.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Product Design teams to deliver high-quality products using modern agile delivery practices.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teams to ensure successful product launches and strong commercial outcomes.
  • Use customer insights, analytics and market feedback to drive product decisions and prioritisation.
  • Champion the adoption of AI, machine learning and emerging technologies where they create meaningful customer value.
  • Influence senior stakeholders across Product, Technology and Commercial functions while maintaining clear alignment around priorities.
  • Stay hands-on throughout the product lifecycle, whether that's writing product requirements, reviewing prototypes, analysing data or helping remove delivery obstacles.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced Product Manager who combines strategic thinking with a practical, delivery-focused mindset.

You'll ideally bring

  • Experience leading complex B2B Saa S products within high-growth technology businesses.
  • A track record of launching successful products or delivering significant commercial growth through product innovation.
  • Strong product discovery skills, with experience validating customer problems before building solutions.
  • A commercial mindset and an understanding of how successful software products create value for both customers and the business.
  • Experience working with AI-enabled products or a strong understanding of modern Generative AI and Large Language Model technologies.
  • Confidence working with engineers on technical concepts while remaining focused on customer outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders across multiple business functions.
  • Experience balancing long-term product strategy with day-to-day execution.
  • The ability to thrive in fast-changing environments where priorities evolve quickly and ambiguity is part of the role.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to challenge thinking constructively when necessary.

Experience within data, research, analytics or other insight-led software businesses would be beneficial but isn't essential.

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to join a business at a genuinely exciting stage of growth, where Product has a direct influence on company strategy and commercial success.

You'll have the freedom to shape meaningful product decisions rather than simply delivering predefined requirements.

Leadership actively encourages experimentation, ownership and new ideas, creating an environment where Product Managers can have a visible impact across the organisation.

You'll work alongside experienced product, engineering and design professionals who value collaboration, continuous learning and thoughtful decision-making.

The business is also making significant investment in AI, providing the opportunity to work with emerging technologies that are reshaping enterprise software and creating entirely new customer experiences.

For ambitious Product Managers looking to step into a highly influential leadership role without moving away from hands-on product work, this offers an excellent balance of strategic responsibility and day-to-day execution.

Package & Benefits

  • Equity participation, giving you the opportunity to share in the company's long-term success.
  • Hybrid working with flexibility to balance office collaboration and focused remote work.
  • Up to 20 days each year working from overseas.
  • 25 days annual leave plus additional company shutdown days during the festive period.
  • Private medical insurance.
  • Dedicated volunteering time each quarter to support charitable or community initiatives.
  • Enhanced family-friendly policies, including generous parental leave and support for fertility treatment, neonatal care and pregnancy loss.
  • A collaborative, inclusive culture that values autonomy, innovation and continuous development.

If you're looking for a Principal Product Manager opportunity where you'll have genuine ownership, significant influence and the chance to help shape the future of AI-powered B2B software, we'd love to hear from you.
