You are a seasoned engineer with years of professional software engineering experience under your belt and expertise in the following areas:
- Building and managing microservices and APIs
- Strong commercial experience in Python (or Node)
- Front-end experience - TypeScript/JavaScript, React
- Good Cloud Experience (they are an AWS house)
- Good experience utilizing various database technologies
- Comfortable working within an Agile team environment
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute across the entire application stack and system architecture to ensure the delivery of resilient, high-quality user experiences
- Uphold the highest standards of engineering excellence, generating clean, maintainable, and comprehensively tested code
- Define, articulate, and implement a technical roadmap in close collaboration with engineering peers and leadership across the broader technology group
- Take a leading role in system re-platforming, architectural refinement, and detailed technical design processes for various core applications
