Infrastructure Project Manager – HIRING ASAP

Duration: 10‑month contract
Location: 2‑3 days in the Sheffield office, 2‑3 days working remotely
Rate: £400 – £457 per day inside IR35
Summary: This is an exciting opportunity for a Infra PM, with at least 5‑7 years experience, to be responsible for delivering infrastructure projects within the financial services sector, ensuring solutions are cost‑effective, supportable, and aligned with business needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver infrastructure projects from initiation to implementation, ensuring compliance with financial services standards.
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and risk registers.
- Coordinate technical teams to produce clear, achievable designs and recovery documentation.
- Liaise with business stakeholders to capture requirements and provide guidance on best practices.
- Manage third‑party vendors and ensure timely delivery of services.
Key Skills
- Demonstrated experience in infrastructure project delivery within financial services.
- Strong understanding of systems architecture and operational processes.
- OpenShift experience (Must Have).
- Prior HSBC experience (Good to have).
- Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Professional project management qualification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
