This role sits within a single-family investment office managing a diversified, multi-asset portfolio across public markets, private capital, credit, real assets, and hedge funds. The Senior Business Analyst / Data Analyst will play a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making, investment reporting, and risk oversight, working closely with senior investment, risk, and operational stakeholders.
The position requires a highly experienced, hands-on professional capable of operating autonomously in a lean environment, while delivering complex analytical and change initiatives across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and deliver data, analytics, and reporting initiatives aligned with the family fund’s investment and risk management objectives.
- Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, correlations, and risk exposures across asset classes and investment strategies.
- Support the development, review, and enhancement of data management and risk management policies and procedures.
- Act as a key liaison between investment, risk, operations, and technology stakeholders, including senior investment professionals.
- Contribute to the design and improvement of portfolio reporting, performance, and risk analysis frameworks.
- Draft, review, and agree technical documentation, operational processes, and procedures to support change initiatives.
- Ensure solutions are proportionate, robust, and appropriate for a private family office structure.
- 10+ years’ experience within asset management, investment management, or a family office environment.
- Proven track record delivering projects and analytical solutions across the full project lifecycle.
- Strong quantitative, data analysis, and modelling capabilities.
- Deep understanding of common investment data sets across:
- Public equities and fixed income.
- Hedge funds.
- Private equity and private credit.
