About the company
An AI-native infrastructure company building purpose-built platforms for sovereignty, performance and scale, from power and compute through to software. It runs GPU-native workloads and multi-tenant control planes for demanding enterprise customers. It’s backed by a major institutional investor and is scaling fast, with a culture that favours results over hierarchy and process.
The role
- You’ll own the strategy, roadmap and delivery of the platform’s security capabilities. That spans identity, access control, secrets, network security, platform hardening, auditability, compliance controls and customer-facing security features, working closely with engineering, infrastructure, SRE, networking, security, compliance and customers.
- Define the product experience across IAM, RBAC, secrets, encryption, audit logging, network controls and policy management.
- Turn customer, regulatory and internal security requirements into clear product requirements, APIs and workflows.
- Partner with engineering and security on secure-by-design architecture, automation and platform hardening.
- Drive customer-facing capabilities for access control, security visibility, compliance evidence and governance.
- Improve automation around policy enforcement, detection, remediation and security posture.
- Support commercial teams with enterprise security requirements and security reviews.
- Define success metrics across control coverage, adoption, security posture and customer trust.
- Make build, buy or partner decisions across the cloud security ecosystem.
What we’re looking for
- You’ll have owned technical products, cloud security products, infrastructure platforms, IAM or developer-facing security tooling, with a strong understanding of modern cloud and infrastructure security.
- You’ll be technically fluent across identity and access (IAM, RBAC, SSO, federation, service identities), security controls (encryption, secrets and key management, policy enforcement), infrastructure (Kubernetes, containers, cloud networking, compute and storage), security operations (logging, audit trails, detection, vulnerability management) and automation (policy-as-code, infrastructure-as-code, security integrations).
- You’ll understand multi-tenancy, least privilege, zero trust, threat models and shared responsibility, and be able to balance security against usability, operational complexity and customer experience.
- Strong prioritisation, communication and stakeholder management matter, as does the ability to take a security capability from discovery through launch, adoption and iteration.
Nice to have: Vault, OPA, SPIFFE/SPIRE, Kubernetes security tooling, SIEM platforms, cloud KMS or similar.
Benefits include:
- 25 days’ leave
- dedicated learning time
- private medical insurance
- a Gympass subscription
- cycle to work
- a company shares programme
- enhanced parental pay and leave
