Network Automation Engineer/DevOps Engineer – HIRING ASAP
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6-month contract
Location: 1-2 days in London office, 3-4 days remote
Rate: £600 per day inside ir35

Summary

Our client, in the Higher Education space, are looking to hire three hybrid Network Automation Engineers/DevOps Engineers for a new program of work that will span across the next 6 months.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible and GitHub.
  • Automate provisioning and configuration of network infrastructure (e.g., firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, SD-WAN).
  • Development of reusable patterns, modules, templates, and playbooks that ensure consistency, auditability, and rapid service enablement.
  • Ideally Higher Education/University experience

  • Agile, SAFe
  • More of a consultative Network person

  • Work with Solution Architects to flesh out the HLD, LLD, and then deliver that
  • Network background and a DevOps background
  • We will be looking for examples of where you have delivered automations in similar large scale environments
