Network Automation Engineer/DevOps Engineer – HIRING ASAP
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6-month contract
Location: 1-2 days in London office, 3-4 days remote
Rate: £600 per day inside ir35
Summary
Our client, in the Higher Education space, are looking to hire three hybrid Network Automation Engineers/DevOps Engineers for a new program of work that will span across the next 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible and GitHub.
- Automate provisioning and configuration of network infrastructure (e.g., firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, SD-WAN).
- Development of reusable patterns, modules, templates, and playbooks that ensure consistency, auditability, and rapid service enablement.
- Ideally Higher Education/University experience

- Work with Solution Architects to flesh out the HLD, LLD, and then deliver that
- Network background and a DevOps background
- We will be looking for examples of where you have delivered automations in similar large scale environments
