Motion Graphics Artist – HIRING ASAP
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 18-months
Location: Once per month in Twycross office & working from home thereafter
Rate: £200 – £236 per day PAYE
Summary
We’re looking for a Motion Graphics Artist to join the Video team at our client. The ideal candidate is someone who is proactive, can iterate on ideas quickly and can use their creativity to help shape the look and feel of new videos.
You’ll be part of an in-studio Video team responsible for producing quality video content to support our online channels and promote the latest games from Rare.
Working closely with the Marketing and Community teams, you’ll have the opportunity to help craft ongoing video content for a leading AAA game.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality motion graphics that can be used within our promotional videos, including titles, endslates and animated key art.
- Adhere to established styles and branding principles for existing video series.
- Ideate on new motion graphics that match the tone of new assets produced by the Video team.
- Produce thumbnails for a variety of different video series.
- Assist with the capture of in-game footage.
- Work closely with the rest of the Video team and the Community team to help improve processes.
Key Skills
- A showreel of previous work.
- Previous experience of motion graphics creation and video editing.
- Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud apps, including After Effects, Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
- Ability to follow a brief and deliver content to tight deadlines.
- Must see titles work, as that would the bulk of work, everything on top of that would be a bonus; thumbnail or YouTube channels work also would be bonus.
- Must have good organisational skills.
- Focus on graphics designs and motion graphics.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with game capture.
- Experience with Unreal Engine Sequencer.
- Good technical understanding of different video formats.
