We’re looking for a highly experienced Senior QA Engineer with a strong background in software quality assurance, particularly in e-commerce environments (Magento 2). This role involves testing modern web applications and APIs, automating tests, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. This is a remote position, ideal for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and has excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough manual and automated testing of web applications, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
- Build and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
- Manage and track issues using tools such as Jira or Asana.
- Document and organize test cases using TestRail or similar tools.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure performance, usability, and security standards are met.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years in software quality assurance.
- Strong experience in e-commerce projects, ideally with Magento 2.
- Expertise in API testing (GraphQL, REST).
- Hands-on with test automation frameworks, especially Playwright + TypeScript.
- Familiar with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficient in using Jira, Asana, and TestRail.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication.
- Experience working in Agile teams.
- Familiarity with AWS.
- A mindset geared toward continuous improvement.
- ISTQB or similar QA certifications.
