We are looking for an experienced Employee Relations Manager to take ownership of a high-impact ER function within a fast-paced and operationally complex business. You will be the go-to expert for complex casework, the calm and credible voice in difficult situations, and a key partner to leaders navigating people challenges at scale. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will lead on complex employee relations matters, shape how ER is delivered across the business, and play a critical role in supporting organisational change. You will also lead and develop a small team, ensuring consistency, quality, and confidence in how ER is handled across the organisation.
If you thrive in high-volume, blue-collar, multi-site environments where no two days are the same, this role offers real ownership, visibility, and influence.
Responsibilities:- Own and lead the full life cycle of complex ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, and related formal processes.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and senior leaders, providing clear, confident, and commercially sound guidance.
- Manage high-volume ER activity within a fast-paced operational workforce environment where pace and accuracy are critical.
- Lead organisational change programmes including restructures.
