Summary: This role is a strategic and vision setting relationship owner with our clients’ top advertisers where trust is built on platform mastery combined with deep understanding of our client’s business. The role will focus on building key strategic external and internal cross functional relationships including marketing, analytics, engineering, and product. Success in this position will consist of driving meaningful revenue growth, developing executive client influence, ability to plan and lead long term vision for our client’s success on the platform through a consultative sales approach, as well as ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment delivering against tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Fastest growing client, High Street retails focused.
- Own the strategy to grow their book of business.
- May have 4-6 clients and each client needs to have deep stakeholder management from a client perspective from C suite to day to day, they need to be able to build relationships and have strong relationship skills.
- Understand the industry and client’s business better than they understand it, look at the opportunity for growth through our client, by understanding the client they identify opportunities to grow brand, mid funnel, performance marketing, having a strong foot hold on that client/industry and know our clients’ product to be able to advise the clients as part of monthly meetings, weekly meetings and QBRs.
- Internal facing – building your internal network and stakeholder management.
- Relationship building and stakeholder management internally and externally, learn product quickly.
- Commercially driven, very comfortable in understanding how to forecast from a sales perspective revenue number every quarter, reporting weekly, understand where revenue is declining/what is driving it, have conversations with senior leaders (C suite) on this and put plans in place.
- Someone who does not mind getting into the day to day and do stuff yourself.
Key Skills:
- Background from Media agencies, retail industry, Google or any other tech platforms.
- Communication: Experience clearly communicating the progress of strategic initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, including the skills to synthesize feedback and adjust plans accordingly.
- 12+ years of experience in performance marketing, digital marketing, or client-facing strategy and consulting roles.
- 5+ years of experience as proven advisor influencing executives and clients.
- Analytical: Proven track record in leveraging data, developing insight-backed hypotheses, and driving learning plans to build compelling business cases.
- Influence Internal & External: Experience collaborating, communicating, and influencing a diverse set of cross-functional teams including engineering, product, data science.
- Experience across our client’s full suite of advertising solutions.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product teams on products features and functionality.
