A rapidly growing M&E subcontractor with three offices across the UK is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their team at their Dartford office. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing competitive tenders and supporting the continued growth of the business.
The Role
- Preparing detailed mechanical estimates and tender submissions
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
- Pricing mechanical building services systems including pipework, HVAC, and associated plant
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
- Producing cost plans and tender breakdowns
- Supporting the pre-construction team and senior management
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Mechanical Estimator within the M&E / Building Services sector
- Strong understanding of mechanical installations, specifications, and pricing
- Ability to review technical drawings and tender documentation
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (required due to office location)
