A rapidly growing M&E subcontractor with three offices across the UK is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their team at their Dartford office. The Role

  • Preparing detailed mechanical estimates and tender submissions
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
  • Pricing mechanical building services systems including pipework, HVAC, and associated plant
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
  • Producing cost plans and tender breakdowns
  • Supporting the pre-construction team and senior management

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Mechanical Estimator within the M&E / Building Services sector
  • Strong understanding of mechanical installations, specifications, and pricing
  • Ability to review technical drawings and tender documentation
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car (required due to office location)
