Trust Housing Association is hiring a part‑time, permanent Catering Assistant for locations in Inverness. The role supports kitchen and dining areas, ensuring cleanliness and food service to tenants.
Responsibilities
- Keep a high standard of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining room areas.
- Carry out cleaning duties as outlined in the development-cleaning schedule.
- Help with basic food preparation.
- Serve meals to tenants.
- Assist in escorting tenants to the dining room when necessary.
Qualifications
- Ability to work as part of a team and have customer service skills.
- Must have or be willing to attain a REHIS certificate in Elementary Food Hygiene.
Benefits
- £13.45 per hour.
- 21 hours per week, a mixture of shifts over an average of 2 days per week on a 2-week rolling rota:
- Week 1: Mon, Tues, Sat, Sun
- Week 2: Wed, Thurs, Fri – 11:30 am to 6 pm with 30-minute unpaid break.

Eligibility
Applicants must be UK residents with the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the role. Sponsorship for international or sponsored visa applicants is not available.
