Could you be part of our team? Trust has an exciting opportunity for a Care & Support Worker to join our team at 200 Abercromby Street, Calton, Glasgow City G40 2RZ. This is an excellent job opportunity for those who live in and around Glasgow.
Competitive hourly rate of £14.04 per hour. 3 posts available: 1 x 36.75, 1 x 32, 1 x 25.25 hrs per week. Shift patterns will be discussed at the interview, depending on which post is preferred. All posts require working alternate weekends.
Generous Holiday Entitlement. Paid PVG check & Professional Membership including SSSC. Access to paid training and a vocational qualification.
What we're looking for in our Support Workers: You will be working with our tenants to make sure they receive the support identified in their personal plan, ensuring they continue to enjoy as much independence as possible. You will assist with meal delivery and provide support in the dining room; there may also be very occasional kitchen duties. This is a rewarding role, assisting others to enjoy the best possible quality of life.
Skills and Experience: Ideally, you will have an appropriate qualification in Health & Social Care and previous experience of working with older people or other vulnerable members of a community, so you will understand their needs and know how to meet these. If you are successful in joining our team, we can provide you with fantastic opportunities to develop your experience or enhance your career in social care and assist with your ongoing personal development.
