Trust has a great opportunity for an experienced Cook to join our team in Pollok, Glasgow City on a permanent part‑time contract (average 24 hours per week). You will receive a competitive hourly rate of £14.04 and work a 2‑week rotating rota.
Compensation & Hours
- 24 hours average per week, 3 days per week.
- 2‑week rolling rota: e.g., Week 1 – Thursday & Friday; Week 2 – Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday.
- Hours: 9.00 am – 6.00 pm (1‑hour unpaid break).
- Competitive hourly rate of £14.04.

Responsibilities
Prepare delicious meals according to the menu. Assist with menu planning, ordering, and preparing ingredients, working alongside the catering assistant. Move around the kitchen efficiently, multitask, and keep the kitchen organised and running smoothly while ensuring compliance with food handling, sanitation and storage procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Skilled Cook experience; knowledge of various ingredients and cooking techniques.
- Ability to plan menus, order supplies, and prep ingredients.
- Strong multitasking and moving around kitchen ability.
- Attention to food handling, sanitation and storage rules.
- Experience working with older tenants’ needs is an advantage.
