Trust Housing Association is looking for a part‑time, permanent Catering Assistant to join our team at Lower Kessock Street, Inverness. This role will support kitchen and dining operations, maintain cleanliness, assist with basic food preparation and serve meals to tenants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas.
  • Carry out cleaning duties according to the development‑cleaning schedule.
  • Help with basic food preparation.
  • Serve meals to tenants and escort tenants to dining room when necessary.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate good customer service skills.
  • Willingness to obtain a REHIS certificate in Elementary Food Hygiene.
Working Conditions
  • Pay: £13.45 per hour.
  • 21 hours per week, mixture of shifts over 2 days per week on a 2‑week rolling rota.
  • Week 1: Mon, Tues, Sat, Sun; Week 2: Wed, Thurs, Fri – 11.30 am to 6 pm with 30 minute unpaid break.
  • Generous holiday entitlement.
  • Ongoing paid training and personal development.
  • Paid candidate vetting through Disclosure Scotland.
