Care & Support Worker Location: 200 Abercromby Street, Calton, Glasgow City G40 2RZ. Excellent opportunity for those living in and around Glasgow.
Competitive hourly rate of £14.04 per hour. 3 posts available: 1 x 36.75, 1 x 32, 1 x 25.25 hrs per week. Shift patterns will be discussed at interview, depending on which post is preferred. All posts require working alternate weekends.
Generous Holiday Entitlement. Paid PVG check & Professional Membership including SSSC. Access to paid training and a vocational qualification.
Responsibilities:
- You’ll be working with tenants to ensure they receive the support identified in their personal plan, helping them maintain independence.
- Duties include meal delivery and support in the dining room, with occasional kitchen tasks.
Qualifications:
- Appropriate qualification in Health & Social Care and prior experience with older people or other vulnerable community members is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of vulnerable populations and the ability to meet their needs, with a commitment to personal development in social care.
