Trust has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cook to join our team at Corn Mill Court, St John's Street Galashiels, Scottish Borders TD1 3JY on a permanent part‑time contract of 30 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Prepare delicious meals for tenants.
- Menu planning.
- Ordering ingredients.
- Prepare ingredients and work alongside the catering assistant.
- Move around kitchen and multitask.
- Keep kitchen organised and follow food handling, sanitation and storage procedures.
Benefits and Compensation
- 30 hours average per week on a 2‑week rolling rota.
- 9:30 to 18:30 – 9 hours with 1 hour unpaid break.
- Week 1: Mon, Tues, Sat, Sun
- Week 2: Wed, Thurs, Fri
- Competitive hourly rate of £14.04 per hour.

Requirements
- Experience as a cook, with skill in using various ingredients and cooking techniques.
