Trust has a great opportunity for an experienced Cook to join our team at Parkhead Court, Dumfries, Dumfries & Galloway DG1 3JF on a permanent part‑time contract of 24.5 hours (average) per week. We are looking for a skilled Cook to prepare delicious meals according to menu.

Responsibilities

  • Menu planning
  • Ordering
  • Preparing ingredients
  • Working alongside the catering assistant
  • Keeping the kitchen organised and running efficiently
  • Following food handling, sanitation, and food storage procedures

Qualifications

  • Able to move around the kitchen
  • Adept at multitasking
  • Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques will be an advantage

Benefits

  • 24.5 hours average per week on a 2‑week rolling rota
  • 10:00am to 6:00pm (1 hour unpaid break)
  • Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday
