Trust has a great opportunity for an experienced Cook to join our team at Parkhead Court, Dumfries, Dumfries & Galloway DG1 3JF on a permanent part‑time contract of 24.5 hours (average) per week. We are looking for a skilled Cook to prepare delicious meals according to menu.
Responsibilities
- Menu planning
- Ordering
- Preparing ingredients
- Working alongside the catering assistant
- Keeping the kitchen organised and running efficiently
- Following food handling, sanitation, and food storage procedures
Qualifications
- Able to move around the kitchen
- Adept at multitasking
- Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques will be an advantage
Benefits
- 24.5 hours average per week on a 2‑week rolling rota
- 10:00am to 6:00pm (1 hour unpaid break)
- Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday
- Week 2 – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
