Join Our Established Later Living Team – Now Hiring Carers! Last year, we launched our brand-new Later Living services across North and South Lanarkshire, and we’re looking for compassionate, motivated individuals to join us as Later Living Carers. What You’ll Be Doing
As a Later Living Carer, you’ll support older and vulnerable adults to live independently in their own homes within our developments. From personal care to meal support, your kindness and reliability will help our customers feel safe, respected, and valued.
Purpose of Job
Work within a team to ensure customers are supported to live as independently as possible within their own homes; providing personal, emotional, and social care and support in line with assessed needs promoting positive outcomes for customers.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in care or working with older/vulnerable people
- SVQ in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
- Strong communication and basic IT skills
- A respectful, inclusive approach to working with older people
- A team spirit and willingness to support others
What We Offer
- Hourly Rate: £14.04 (from 1st April)
- Hours: 19.5 per week on a rolling rota
- Shifts: Flexible morning and back shifts (7:30am–10:00pm), including weekends
- Contract: Permanent
- Location: On-site within our Later Living development at Hunthill Road, High Blantyre, South Lanarkshire G72 9SS
- Paid training, development & SVQ qualifications

Please note
This role is subject to satisfactory interview, references and a PVG check. You will be required to register with the SSSC, complete mandatory training within a timeframe, and the commitment to studying for an SVQ in Care & Support if you do not already hold this qualification.
