Were launching brand-new Later Living services this October in Hamilton, and were looking for compassionate, motivated individuals to join us as Later Living Seniors.

What Youll Be Doing

At Trust, were committed to making a meaningful difference in peoples lives every day. As a Senior Care and Support Worker, youll play a key role in supporting older and vulnerable adults to live independently in their own homes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and mentoring care and support staff
  • Managing rotas and identifying training needs
  • Leading on supervision and development conversations
  • Writing and reviewing personal, care, and support plans
  • Providing hands-on support with homecare tasks and personal care
  • Encouraging tenants to lead active, healthy, and fulfilling lives

Your empathetic, respectful, and person-centred approach will help create a positive environment where tenants feel valued and supported.

Purpose of Job

Work within a team to ensure customers are supported to live as independently as possible within their own homes; providing personal, emotional, and social care and support in line with assessed needs promoting positive outcomes for customers.

What Were Looking For

  • Experience working in the care sector, particularly with older people or vulnerable individuals
  • SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or a commitment to achieve this within SSSC timescales
  • Supervisory experience (desirable)
  • Strong communication and confident IT skills
  • A respectful, inclusive approach to working with older people
  • A team spirit and willingness to support others

What We Offer

  • Hourly Rate: £15.00
  • Hours: 35 per week on a rolling rota
  • Shifts: Flexible morning and back shifts (7:30am10:00pm), including weekends
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Location: On-site within one of our Later Living developments
  • Start Date: September
  • Paid training, development & SVQ qualifications
  • Generous annual leave & pension contributions
  • Paid SSSC registration & PVG check
  • Uniform & free parking

Please note: this role is subject to satisfactory interview, references and a PVG check. You will be required to register with the SSSC, complete mandatory training within a timeframe, and the commitment to studying for an SVQ in Care & Support if you do not already hold this qualification.
