Trust Housing Association has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Care & Support Worker (supporting older people) in Pollokshaws, Glasgow City.
This is a full‑time, permanent position with a competitive salary of £16.05 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Support older and vulnerable adults in their own homes.
- Work an alternating 3‑week rolling rota with another senior, ensuring effective communication between shifts.
- Support and mentor support staff.
- Manage rotas and identify training needs.
- Supervise and lead the writing of personal, care & support plans.
- Provide practical support with tenants’ daily life, including homecare support, personal care and promotion of a positive, active and healthy lifestyle.

Qualifications
- Experience in the care sector with older or vulnerable people is preferred.

- SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or a commitment to achieve this qualification.
- Basic IT skills.
- Previous experience is preferred but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided.
