As a Later Living Manager (Housing Support with Meals), you will manage the day-to-day delivery of housing support within a Later Living development where a meals service is available. Your main focus will be housing support, customer wellbeing and creating a safe, welcoming and well-managed development. You will also line manage cooks and catering colleagues, who are responsible for preparing and delivering the meals service. A Typical Day Might Include
A typical day might include supporting colleagues, overseeing customer support plans, responding to customer needs, promoting independence and community connection, supporting catering colleagues where meals are provided, liaising with families or external partners and maintaining accurate service records. About You
We're looking for someone with experience in supported housing, housing support, care, community services or a similar customer-focused environment. You'll be able to support and motivate a team, communicate warmly and professionally, manage competing priorities and support customers to feel safe, included and able to live well. Digital confidence is also important, including the ability to use online systems, emails and digital records as part of your day-to-day work. Managing a Development with a Meals Service
In this role, "with meals" describes the development setting. Your main focus will be housing support, customer wellbeing, employee support and community life, with line management responsibility for cooks and catering colleagues. Vacancy Summary
