Are you a compassionate and reliable Support Worker who takes pride in helping others remain independent in their own homes? Do you have a driving licence and a genuine desire to make a difference across your local community? We’re looking for Domiciliary Support Workers to join our team, providing high-quality, person-centred care to adults living in their own homes across the Surrey and Hampshire border. You’ll play a key role in ensuring people receive support that’s tailored to their individual needs — promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing every step of the way.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing personal care including assistance with washing, dressing, and maintaining personal hygiene in a respectful and supportive manner.
- Supporting with mobility, safe moving and handling, and the appropriate use of aids and equipment.
- Assisting with medication in line with training and care plans.
- Monitoring health and wellbeing, recording observations, and promptly reporting any changes or concerns.
- Offering emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to live as independently and actively as possible.
- Supporting with domestic tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
- Accompanying clients to appointments, community activities, and social outings.
What We’re Looking For
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle (essential for travelling between client homes).
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to providing exceptional care.
- Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and families.
- Willingness to complete training and an Enhanced DBS check.
