The Personal & Content Assistant is a contract role based in London, primarily in person around North London. It splits roughly evenly between personal/operational support and content support, and the right person moves between the two without dropping either.

On the operational side: calendar, travel, meeting coordination, inbox triage, errands, household coordination, and the small fires that eat a day, staying ahead of the chaos so nothing slips.

On the content side: drafting, editing, and organizing content across Substack, social, and founder/investor communications; maintaining content schedules; managing digital assets; and light research on portfolio companies and market topics. The role rewards proactivity, taste, and discretion over checklist-following.

Rate: Β£20–30/hour depending on experience.

Qualifications:

  • Clear, strong written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Sharp writing and editing for emails, social posts, and short-form web content, with the taste to catch something off-brand before being told
  • Experience organizing, publishing, and tracking content across tools and workflows
  • Ability to plan topics, calendars, and basic messaging aligned with brand
  • High organization, time management, and attention to detail
  • Based in London, able to be in person regularly
  • Instinctive discretion with confidential and sensitive matters
  • Familiarity with startups, venture, or the broader entrepreneurial world a plus
  • Comfortable in Google Workspace and project management tools
