This ongoing role is ideal for a committed Primary Teacher (Key Stage 1) who is passionate about supporting early learning and development.
As a Primary Teacher (Key Stage 1), you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons to pupils in Years 1–2, helping to build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and social development. The successful Primary Teacher (Key Stage 1) will create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel supported and motivated to learn.
Key Responsibilities:- Planning and delivering engaging lessons as a Primary Teacher (Key Stage 1)
- Supporting pupils’ development in phonics, reading, writing, and maths
- Assessing and monitoring progress in line with Key Stage 1 expectations
- Creating a positive and structured classroom environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support pupil progress
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Have a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum, including phonics
- Be patient, creative, and committed to high-quality teaching
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to undergo one
