Trust Education is recruiting on behalf of a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in the Barnsley area for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher.
The Role:
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons in a Year 1 class
- Planning, preparing, and assessing learning in line with the primary curriculum
- Creating a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
- Working closely with teaching assistants, staff, and parents to support pupil progress
- Providing high-quality teaching that supports pupils of all abilities and learning needs
- Contributing positively to the wider school community during the placement
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within Year 1
- Be passionate about inspiring and supporting children's learning and development
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
- Be reliable, organised, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Have a proactive and positive approach to teaching and learning
- Be adaptable and confident teaching across different year groups if required
