Are you a passionate and adaptable Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new opportunity in Sheffield?
We are currently recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in S20 .
The successful candidate will work predominantly within Year 3/4 , while also being flexible and willing to provide support across all year groups within the school . No two days will necessarily be the same, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to make a genuine difference across the school community.
A key focus of the role will be supporting some of the school's more vulnerable pupils , helping them to overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and feel happy and supported in school.
The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Work predominantly within Year 3/4
Provide support across all year groups when required
Support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
Work closely with teachers to support learning and development
Provide additional support to vulnerable pupils
Help pupils overcome barriers to learning
Support children's emotional wellbeing and confidence
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
Adapt to the changing needs of the school and its pupils
Build positive and trusting relationships with children
Become a valued and flexible member of the wider school team
