Are you a SEND Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity?
We are currently looking to speak with experienced SEND Teaching Assistants across South Yorkshire, with a range of opportunities available in Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and Doncaster .
We work with a wide range of primary schools and regularly have opportunities for 1:1 SEND support, small-group support and wider classroom support , with both short-term and longer-term placements available.
The roles may involve:
Providing 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with SEND
Supporting pupils to access learning and the wider curriculum
Helping children develop their confidence, independence and social skills
Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
Working closely with class teachers and SENDCos
Adapting support to meet individual pupils' needs
We are looking for candidates who:
Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND
Have previous experience working within a school or educational setting
Are confident providing 1:1 support
Are patient, caring and consistent
Have good communication and behaviour management skills
Are reliable, adaptable and passionate about supporting pupils
