KS1 Teacher Teacher in Mansfield

Position: Full-Time Contract: Maternity Cover Are you a passionate Primary Teacher looking for your next opportunity in a supportive and welcoming school? Trust Education are currently working with a fantastic primary school in Mansfield who are looking for a dedicated teacher to join their team as a Year 1 Class Teacher , covering a maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher, or an ECT looking to take on their first longer-term teaching position , to join a friendly school and make a real difference to a class of enthusiastic young learners. Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development Working closely with the wider teaching team Monitoring and assessing pupils' progress Supporting children as they develop their independence and confidence Phonics Experience is Essential As a Year 1 teacher, the successful candidate must have a good understanding of phonics and be confident delivering phonics lessons. Experience with a recognised phonics programme would be highly desirable, although teachers with strong phonics knowledge and experience will also be considered. Holds QTS or is an ECT working towards QTS Has experience teaching within a primary school setting Ideally has previous experience within EYFS or KS1 Is confident planning and delivering engaging lessons Is nurturing, enthusiastic and passionate about working with young children This could be an excellent opportunity to take your first step into a longer-term teaching role with the support of an established school team.
