Trust Education are recruiting on behalf of a wonderful primary school in the Huddersfield area for an experienced and nurturing Reception Class Teacher. This is a temporary, full time role starting ASAP, offering a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly early years team.
The Role:
- Engage and encourage learners to use their language skills
- Document pupil development and progress to share with parents/carers
- Monitor pupils playtime and physical activities
- Introduce interactive activities and encourage pupils to voice their questions
- Promote a supportive, secure and welcoming classroom atmosphere where all pupils can thrive
- Liaise effectively with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents
- Provide inclusive, high-quality teaching tailored to the diverse needs and abilities of all learners
The Ideal Candidate will:
- Have experience teaching within an early years setting
- Ability to motivate young children
- Have excellent listening, verbal and written communications skills
- Be an exceptional planner and organiser
- Demonstrate strong classroom and management skills
