Trust Education are currently recruiting for a full-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a primary school in Dewsbury WF12. This is a part-time role, starting ASAP, offering a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced team supporting pupils throughout the school.
The Role:
- Supporting teaching and learning across all year groups during all classroom sessions
- Planning, preparing, and delivering targeted intervention work to support pupil progress
- Working closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging and effective support sessions
- Creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting pupils of all abilities and learning needs to achieve their potential
- Working collaboratively with staff, pupils and parents to support positive outcomes
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold a minimum HLTA status or have relevant experience within a similar role (ECTs ideal)
- Have experience working across all year groups
- Be confident delivering intervention programmes and small group support
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
- Be reliable, organised, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Have a proactive and positive approach to supporting teaching and learning
- Be flexible and confident providing class cover when required
