Job Description
Year 3 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant Doncaster (S64)
Location: Doncaster, S64
Contract Type: Temporary, Part-Time
Start Date: October 2026
End Date: December 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, afternoons only
We are currently recruiting for a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Year 3 at a primary school in the S64 area of Doncaster.
This is a part-time opportunity, working Monday to Friday afternoons, from October through to December.
The role will involve
- Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a Year 3 pupil
- Supporting the pupil with their learning and engagement
- Helping to manage and respond to individual needs
- Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team
- Supporting the pupil to access the curriculum and develop their confidence and independence
The successful candidate will
- Have previous experience working with children in a primary school setting
- Have experience supporting children with SEND
- Be confident providing 1:1 support
- Be patient, caring and consistent in their approach
- Have strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Be reliable and committed to the full placement
The position offers
- Monday to Friday, afternoons only
