Trust Education is recruiting on behalf of a primary school in the S63 area for a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).

The Role:

  • Supporting teaching and learning across primary
  • Planning, preparing, and delivering targeted intervention work to support pupil progress
  • Providing occasional class cover where required
  • Working closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging and effective support sessions
  • Creating a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting pupils of all abilities and learning needs to achieve their potential
  • Working collaboratively with staff, pupils, and parents to support positive outcomes

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold a minimum HLTA status or have relevant experience within a similar role (ECTs ideal)
  • Have experience working within primary
  • Be confident delivering intervention programmes and small group support
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Be reliable, organised, and able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Have a proactive and positive approach to supporting teaching and learning
  • Be flexible and confident providing class cover when required
