We are currently recruiting for a SEND/SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic specialist school in Chesterfield, supporting pupils with a range of complex additional needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a genuine difference to children's lives and wants to become a valued member of a supportive school team. As a SEND/SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils and staff to provide consistent, nurturing and engaging support throughout the school day. Supporting pupils with a range of SEND and SEMH needs Helping pupils to engage positively with their learning Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence and social development Working closely with teachers and other members of the school's support team Supporting pupils both inside and outside of the classroom The school is looking for someone who is: Confident supporting children with additional needs Able to build strong and positive relationships with pupils Passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning Previous experience within a SEND, SEMH, specialist school or similar setting would be highly desirable.
