We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage Two Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic school environment. This role involves delivering high-quality teaching and learning to pupils, ensuring all children are supported to achieve their full potential. The successful teacher will demonstrate strong classroom practice and a secure understanding of the Key Stage Two curriculum. As a Key Stage Two Teacher, you will play a key role in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. ECT's are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage Two curriculum
- Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and wellbeing
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents/carers
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Contribute to the wider life of the school
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Key Stage Two curriculum
- Previous experience in a UK-based classroom teaching role
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
Desirable
- Experience in delivering SATs preparation
- Ability to contribute to extracurricular activities
- Knowledge of current educational practices and assessment frameworks
