Trust Education are recruiting on behalf of a primary village school in the WF4 area for a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). This is a part-time role, starting in September 2026 until Easter 2027, offering a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive Key Stage 2 team supporting Year 3 and Year 4 pupils.
The Role:
- Supporting teaching and learning across Year 3 and Year 4 during all classroom sessions
- Planning, preparing, and delivering targeted intervention work to support pupil progress
- Providing occasional class cover where required across Key Stage 2
- Working closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging and effective support sessions
- Creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting pupils of all abilities and learning needs to achieve their potential
- Working collaboratively with staff, pupils and parents to support positive outcomes
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold a minimum HLTA status or have relevant experience within a similar role (ECTs ideal)
- Have experience working within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3 and Year 4
- Be confident delivering intervention programmes and small group support
