Trust Education are recruiting on behalf of a primary school in the HD4 area for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant. This is a full time role, starting in September 2026 for one full term, offering an amazing opportunity to join an accomplished Key Stage 2 team to support Years 3 to 6.
The Role:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Providing occasional class cover where required across Key Stage 2
- Working with small groups and individual pupils
- Creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting pupils of all abilities and learning needs to achieve their potential
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification
- Have experience working within Key Stage 2
- Be confident delivering intervention programmes and small group support
- Be reliable, organised, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Have a proactive and positive approach to supporting teaching and learning
- Be flexible and confident providing class cover when required
