The Role

A committed EYFS Teacher is sought to deliver engaging, high-quality early years provision on a part-time basis (2.5 days per week), fostering curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver effective teaching in line with the EYFS framework
  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Assess and monitor progress to inform planning
  • Support children's communication, social, and emotional development
  • Work collaboratively with staff and communicate effectively with parents
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school
  • Uphold safeguarding and welfare requirements at all times

Person Specification

Essential:

  • QTS or recognised EYFS qualification
  • EYFS teaching experience
  • Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS framework
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding

Desirable:

  • Independent school experience
  • Knowledge of early literacy/phonics
  • Experience with SEND
  • Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain)

Working Pattern

2.5 days per week (working pattern to be agreed)
