  • Primary Teaching Assistant Responsibilities
  • Support teaching and learning across the primary age range.
  • Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to support pupil progress.
  • Assist the class teacher in creating a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support pupils of mixed abilities, adapting learning where appropriate.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
  • Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times.
  • Show initiative while working collaboratively as part of the wider school team.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a UK primary school.
  • A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (such as CACHE Level 2 or Level 3) is desirable but not essential with suitable experience.
  • A positive, proactive and reliable approach to supporting children's learning.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
