Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND, EAL, and higher attainment
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports learning and wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with parallel class teachers and teaching assistants to ensure continuity across the week
- Contribute to medium- and long-term planning within the year group
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour in line with the school’s policies
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing

Person Specification
Essential:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in a primary setting
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, including phonics and early maths

- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
