- KS2 Teaching Assistant Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 2 classrooms.
- Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to help pupils reach their learning goals.
- Assist the class teacher in creating an engaging, positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support pupils of mixed abilities, adapting learning where appropriate.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
- Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times.
- Use initiative while working effectively as part of the wider school team.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a UK primary school.
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (such as CACHE Level 2 or Level 3) is desirable but not essential with suitable experience.
- A good understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- A positive, proactive and reliable approach to supporting children's learning.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
