Trust Education are working in partnership with a friendly and supportive primary school in the Barnsley area to recruit a full-time Year 5/6 Teacher from Easter until the end of the academic year. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and adaptable teacher to join a welcoming school with a strong focus on pupil progress and high expectations.
The role would suit an experienced KS2 teacher or a strong ECT looking to gain valuable upper Key Stage 2 experience.
The role: You will be responsible for teaching a mixed Year 5/6 class, delivering engaging and purposeful lessons in line with the national curriculum. The role includes planning, preparation, assessment, and supporting pupils as they prepare for the transition into secondary education.
