Finance Accounts Assistant – Daresbury – From £28,000 – Permanent / Full Time / Hybrid Working
Are you ready to take the next step in your finance journey? We are offering a permanent opportunity for a dedicated and driven individual to step into a Finance Accounts Assistant role to support Trust Alliance Group's finance team with day-to-day duties.
As a Finance Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance team to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations across the organisation. Your work will help ensure accuracy and resilience across all of TAG's business units - directly contributing to the success of our organisation.

Trust Alliance Group was formed in 2022 and comprises several businesses that were previously part of Ombudsman Services. To deliver on our purpose of building and maintaining trust between consumers and businesses, we are developing diverse capabilities and expertise in a range of areas including digital alternative dispute resolution and case management technology.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keep our finances on track by managing sales and purchase ledgers, processing invoices, and reconciling accounts with precision and care.
- Support business growth by handling daily banking, payments, and receipts, ensuring we maintain a healthy cash flow.
- Be the go-to team player for managing supplier relationships, purchase orders, and credit control activities that strengthen our financial partnerships.
- Champion accuracy through careful management of expenses, credit card reconciliations, and petty cash.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by helping build financial resilience across six group ledgers and supporting process enhancements.
- Make a positive impact by assisting with ESG data collection, helping TAG deliver on its commitments to sustainability and responsible business practices.
What You’ll Bring to the Role

Preferred Background
- A qualification (or working towards) in Finance or Accounting - AAT Level 3 or equivalent (beneficial not essential).
- Prior experience working in a finance environment (beneficial not essential).
- Exposure to inter-company transactions, journal posting, or group accounts (beneficial not essential).
- Experience supporting ESG reporting is a plus but not essential - we’ll support you to learn.
