Role: Colleague Assistant
Location: Daresbury, Warrington with hybrid working available
Salary: From £28,000 per annum dependent on skills, knowledge and experience
Contract Type: Permanent / 37.5 hours per week

Trust Alliance Group was formed in 2022 and comprises several businesses that were previously part of Ombudsman Services. The Energy Ombudsman, Communications Ombudsman, Internet Commission and POPLA are now separate business units within Trust Alliance Group.

Purpose of Role:
As the HR Colleague Assistant you will assist the Colleague Services Team in providing high level service to all stakeholders and proactively identifying opportunities where the Colleague Team can add value and be involved in key people projects. You will continuously promote the Colleague Services Team through effective and professional delivery of colleague operational and project support.
You will have the opportunity to build your knowledge, skills and experience and put this into practice, supporting across a wide range of HR matters; ensuring our colleagues are engaged, high performing and demonstrate our core values and behaviours. You will have a broad remit with a focus on continuous improvement and colleague change. The role will require you to work at pace, aid the colleague value proposition, colleague experience and elevate the team brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service to all colleagues' service customers, whether they are potential or existing colleagues.
- Maintain shared inboxes and respond to customer queries, transactions and requests effectively within SLAs set.
- Maintain and update issues by logging activity to support colleagues' service value-added data.
- Be proactive with change projects allocated by your manager to support delivery of the colleagues' agenda which will collaboratively shape the future of the organisation as we continue to improve the function.
- Provide support to the colleague services operations manager and the wider people team when required.
- Providing council to managers and key stakeholders on colleague related principles.
- Deliver colleague-related training sessions and onboarding sessions.
- Maintain the HR system and produce analysis reports for management as requested.
- Work with the colleagues' team to ensure all starter and leaver processes are completed within the system.
- Ensure all colleagues' files are reflective of any data cleanse and in line with GDPR compliance requirement.
- Work with the colleagues' team to develop and enhance MI, reports and dashboards, providing all management information reports in a professional consistent format.
- Administering the employee benefit and incentive schemes as appropriate.
- Align with teams and management to ensure values are lived.
- Champion a positive culture to enhance the business goals of being a great place to work, escalating all feedback from employees and acting on it to impact positive change.
- Holding focus groups where appropriate building trust with our employees and great relationships.
- Maintaining e-documentation and monitoring files within the system
Desired Background:
- Working knowledge of IT packages: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- HR systems knowledge would be beneficial.
- Working towards or holding Level 3/Level 5 CIPD Diploma.
- Experience operating as a Human Resource Assistant.
- Keen interest in People and championing better work and working lives.
- Providing high quality HR Systems Administration.
- Passion for personal and professional development.
- Interpersonal skills with a confident and friendly approach.
