We are one of the highest performing colleges nationally and we are looking for enthusiastic and committed engineering specialists with the ability to inspire students and maintain excellent working relationships in a very successful Engineering team. A willingness to support students pastorally is essential, as is being adaptable and flexible in a dynamic working environment.
The ideal candidates should work with confidence across a wide variety of ability levels, be a committed team member and possess a clear enthusiasm for their subject. The successful applicant will be expected to provide high quality teaching on education programmes, and to contribute to providing an outstanding learning experience for our students.
We aim to find a full‑time engineering specialist to join our successful team to teach on a variety of engineering and manufacturing courses which, depending upon the successful candidate, could include delivery of relevant engineering theory (i.e. maths and physics), CAD, CAM, fabrication or design, primarily at Level 3 – we welcome applications from candidates from any specialism found within engineering.
Applicants should hold a degree or similar professional qualification/experience in engineering, relevant technology or product design as well as a recognised teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one). As well as teaching, the successful candidate is likely to have responsibility for a tutor group. A commitment to curriculum development and a flexible approach to teaching and learning are required.
