We are looking for an experienced HR Associate with a strong recruitment and staffing focus to support our managers during a busy and exciting period for the College.
The Role
This is a hands-on, people-facing role where recruitment is front and centre. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a smooth, compliant and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers alike.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end recruitment, from vacancy approval to onboarding
- Screening applications, coordinating shortlisting and interviews
- Supporting managers to recruit efficiently, effectively and cost-consciously
- Issuing contracts, coordinating inductions and ensuring timely starts
- Maintaining recruitment data, tracking activity and producing reports
- Ensuring compliance with safer recruitment requirements and the Single Central Record
Alongside recruitment, you will provide generalist HR support, acting as a trusted first point of contact for managers and staff.
What You Will Bring
We are looking for someone who is:
- CIPD Level 5 qualified
- Experienced in recruitment, HR administration and employee relations
- Confident managing multiple vacancies and priorities at pace
- Highly organised, detail-focused and confident using HR systems
- Knowledgeable in employment law and safer recruitment practices
- Professional, approachable and comfortable advising managers
- Experience in the FE or education sector is highly desirable, but not essential.
